What you need to do to prepare for you hair trial:
Allow enough time. Book your trial at least three to six months before the wedding. For your trial, you’re going to need at least an hour and a half. And don’t be afraid to do more than one trial! Many brides do two or three test runs with the same stylist before finding the correct style that truly love and feel comfortable with. It is very important to work together and communication is key. Gina is very detailed and listens to everything you have to say.
Prep your hair properly

Wash and blow dry your hair the night before, without using products (serums or leave ins). If you use a flat iron to tame frizz, it's fine to go ahead and use it. But if your hair is curly, it's better to work with your natural hair texture than to fight it, especially if you're getting married in a season when humidity will come into play. Choose your photo inspiration.
Bringing pictures but don't feel as though you need to narrow it down to just one option. Look on the internet to find a style that is your inspiration, but a lot of the pictures you'll find will only show the hair from one angle. If you love the front of one look but the back of another, your stylist can work to incorporate elements of your favorite ideas. Don't know what you want? Bring a photo of your dress. This can help your stylist get a sense of your personal style. Plus, she can help you determine the best look based on your dress's neckline.
Know what you want and what you don't want
Sometimes, it can be even more helpful to tell your stylist what you don't like, especially if you're going in without a clear vision of your dream wedding-day hairstyle. Do you prefer loose waves or tight ringlets? Sleek or poufy updos? These tips will help your stylist find the perfect fit. Be open to changing your hair If you're in love with a particular style, ask your stylist if she'd recommend changing anything about your current cut and color to make it look its best. You may find that your style would look better with side-swept bangs or that you should cut layers into your long locks to add dimension. Or, she may suggest something subtle, like parting your hair on the opposite side or overextending the part. And if you highlight or color your hair that should be done 2 weeks before the big day.
Bring your headpiece
Your veil can completely transform your hairstyle. It's important for your stylist to know how your veil attaches, whether you're going to wear it all night, and if you're planning on wearing any other hair accessories.
Don't have your veil or hair accessories? No need to stress just bring a photo.
What you should do for your makeup trial:
Look for your inspiration pictures, and bring to your appointment and we will discuss colors and the style that will complement you. Please share with me what details are most important to you, or any concerns you may have. My goal for this meeting is to let you get to know me and my work, so I can begin to earn your trust, and you can make the decision if I am the right artist for your wedding! This is a one and a half to two hour appointment for makeup. During our time together, we’ll discuss all the details
Looking in my kit, you’ll find quite a variety of brands,  (NARS, MAC, Makeup Forever, Ben Nye, Smash-box, Cinema Secrets).
If you have a skin issue that is of concern for you, please do share with me. What can seem like a big problem to you will likely be common in my world.
Never underestimate the importance of skin care preparation to ensure a clean, fresh, natural looking makeup application! Thorough skin prepping will ensure your foundation (the makeup base) glides on smoothly for what should result in a flawless coverage. Your wedding make-up only looks as good as your underlying skin. Even if you have a perfect complexion , the few days before your wedding or trial is not a good time for a facial. Even good complexions may flare up.
Exfoliation is key in good skin, by gently exfoliating the skin. Removing this outer layer of dead skin cells leaves a smoother texture and promotes the growth of healthy new skin cells.
Even though they may seem very insignificant, the shape of your eyebrows can actually change your entire face. The most important thing to remember is that well-groomed natural looking eyebrows tend to be the best option for weddings, especially if you want to try to maintain your natural appearance and remember to not over do it!
Well that about it, if you have any other questions don't hesitate to contact me.
